The e-mail I got from Joe:
Hey Denny ........ She fly's ...... She Fly's
Went out yesterday morning and did my thing ......
Oh what a feeling !! ......
Except for holding back pressure everything went
well ...... first turn I leveled out and air speed went to 90.
Pulled her back and went to 3k msl and slowed to
40 and not even close to a stall so power back on and to around
85 and started yanking and banking ...... she was
on rails ..... sweet ............. stayed up for about fifteen minutes.
Then Mike and his father in law came over in his
Avid. Mike fixed the tracking in the prop for me ...... while I put more
weight in the rear. Second time up still back
pressure but a little better ....... straight and level flight a 5k 95
indicated.
4k 75 indicated. The Champ was in the pattern
watching me and said I was scooting along. Going back out today to
adjust the back pressure and then head cross
country if all goes well.
